DESCRIPTION
Bentonite Hv is specifically processed granular bentonite grade. It mixes easily in water to form a flexible, permanent seal.

APPLICATIONS/FUNCTIONS
Bentonite Hv can be used to provide an excellent seal in:
  
• Water Wells   
• Geotechnical Holes   
• Blast Holes   
• Casing in Drill Holes   
• Dams and Earthen Mud Pits

  Bentonite Hv also has good application for stabilising loose formation in Cable Tool Holes.

ADVANTAGES


• Swells when hydrated with fresh water.
• Forms a flexible, permanent seal.
• Yields slowly without excessive viscosity.
• Will not contaminate aquifiers in water bores.
• Can be placed in dry or wet boreholes.
• Mixes easily in water and requires only basic mixing equipment.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT


• To seal a bore hole, mix 55 - 65 kgs m3 Bentonite Hv in fresh water and pump into place.
