EP Bit Lube
Biodegradable Diamond Soluble Oil
DESCRIPTION
EP BIT LUBE is vegetable based soluble oil which was
developed specifically for the diamond drilling industry. Its
extreme pressure lubrication properties were designed for the
operating parameters at the face of an impregnated diamond
bit giving improved penetration rates and extended bit life.
APPLICATIONS/FUNCTIONS
EP BIT LUBE eliminates rod vibration in diamond drilling by
producing a soft, tenacious film of grease on the drill string and
the borehole. The concentrated wetting agents in the product
enhance the cooling of the impregnated diamond particles
and accelerate removal of cuttings improving penetration rates
and extending bit life. EP BIT LUBE forms white oil in water
emulsion and is compatible with fresh water and brackish water.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
EP BIT LUBE may be added directly to the sump or injected
into the circulating system. It mixes very easily to form a white
emulsion in most water types.
2.5 - 5kg/1000 litres - To eliminate vibration and torque
5 - 7.5kg/1000 litres - To improve bit life in extremely hard and
abrasive ground
