DESCRIPTION
THREAD GREASE is a lithium calcium complex, heavy duty thread compound containing specialised
polymers and proprietary additives.
THREAD GREASE is fortified with molybdenum to
enhance extreme-pressure lubricity and load carrying capacity.
It is a consistent performer at high temperatures, has a low
water wash value and prevents corrosion. THREAD
GREASE is designed to reduce galling and friction and
protects the threads from damage, wear and seizing.
APPLICATIONS/FUNCTIONS
THREAD GREASE is applied generously to the tool
joints and threaded sections of drill pipe and is normally applied
with a brush, spatula or other suitable items. THREAD
GREASE is extremely tenacious, adhering to all metal surfaces.
