DESCRIPTION
DYPRO K is a blend of bentonite, polymers and inhibiting agents designed for extremely water sensitive formations, such as dykes, Kimberlite and shales. It is also a one shot product and requires no other chemicals to be added. DYPRO K works by forming a thin tough filter cake on the sides of the borehole, stopping water from wetting the formation.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT


• Mix into water with a venturi mixer at a concentration of ± 5% until a viscosity of 45 seconds/litre is obtained. Maintain a viscosity of 42 to 45 seconds/litre by adding DYPRO K as required. EZYCORE-BG can be added to the DYPRO K at a concentration of 1% to improve lubrication.
