Steel Tooth Bits
Tooth bits have milled teeth in various patterns about the cone, to provide chisels that rotate to break up the material
being drilled. Teeth are made of special steel and are subject to abrasive wear. The pattern of the tooth placement
along with the number and shape of the teeth will determine the formation that best can be drilled with a certain bit.
Formations that can be drilled range from extremely soft to extremely hard.
There are Four Types of Steel Tooth Roller Bits.
1. Elasatomer Sealed Roller Bearing Bit
2. Air Cooling Roller Bearing Steel Tooth Bit
3. Non-Sealed Roller Bearing Steel Tooth Bit
4. Metaled sealed Journal Bearing Steel Tooth Bit
